Ivory D. Payne founders of Global Impact Media LLC and publisher of Leaders of Our Faith.

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ivory Payne attended Southern. His roots in publishing began as he assisted his father, Bishop. Ivory J. Payne, founder and pastor of New Birth Full Gospel Ministries in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with The Baton Rouge Weekly Press, now in its 35th year.

Ivory D. Payne has been the creative factor in many publishing entities like The Minority Communicator, The Columbus Post, Urban Trendsetters, The Louisiana Black Publishers Association and was art director for a book publishing company that produced 200+ page directories of African American leaders across the country.

In June of 2006, he founded the award-winning Praise Reporter Newsmagazine. With the Praise Reporter, Payne has defied the theory that faith is not a factor in the marketplace. The Praise Reporter is the only faith-based monthly in the city of Columbus, Ohio and has garnered support from over 200 + churches, city government, business owners, community and faithbased organizations. His vision for the Praise Reporter is to share “good news” and be a bridge between the communities, churches and business. In this short time, Ivory has grown the Praise Reporter to a readership of over 50,000 at 350 churches, public libraries and local businesses.

In 2007, Payne's desire to celebrate, honor and memorialize dedicated servants in ministry produced the concept of Leaders of Our Faith. Payne felt the need to honor leaders of integrity who have and are making a positive impact and improving the lives of those in their communities. He saw the need for a vehicle to preserve and celebrate the legacy of leaders of the faith that would in turn cause readers to have faith in the faith and endeavor to serve their communities from the example of the featured leaders whose selfless service or sacrifice to others has gone unrecognized and unapplauded.

Ivory is an active member of United Ministries Church of Columbus, Ohio under the leadership of Apostle Rod Williams and international revivalist Dr. Taketa Williams. Payne and his wife Celeste are committed and active members of the ministry. Celeste Payne serves as Operations Manager for Global Impact Media LLC.
